These terms apply when you use delaxcom.org. By using the site, you agree to them. They're written to be read, not skimmed past.
The site is run by DelaxCom LLC, an Iowa company ("we").
DelaxCom LLCEverything on DELAX GEO-RISK is general information and analysis. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, and nothing here is tailored to your circumstances, even when the Workspace scores holdings you entered yourself. DelaxCom LLC is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer, and using the site does not make you our client. Before you act, consider speaking to a qualified, regulated adviser.
Scenario figures, probabilities and exposure scores come from models. The methodology page explains how they're built and labels each situation by how much evidence supports it. Some figures describe events that have never happened. Market data comes from third parties, may be delayed or wrong, and can be unavailable. Text written by AI can contain mistakes. Past market behaviour does not guarantee future results.
You may use the site for your own research and share links to it. Please don't overload or attack the site or its API, get around its limits, or resell its data. Market data belongs to the providers named on the site and is subject to their terms.
Our privacy notice governs how we handle personal data, and it forms part of these terms.
Signing in is optional. If you sign in, keep that account secure (your Google or Microsoft account, or your email and password). We may suspend or close an account used to abuse the site or its API. Signing out and deleting an account work as the privacy notice describes.
The books, holdings and watchlist you save remain yours. You give DelaxCom LLC a limited licence to host and display them, solely to provide the service to you. We grant no licence to our source code, text, charts or branding, including the code your browser downloads to run the site. The site's text, charts and branding are © 2026 DelaxCom LLC.
The DGSI's published readings, history, component readings and charts (“DGSI data”) are © 2026 DelaxCom LLC. “DELAX” and “DGSI” are names of DelaxCom LLC.
Free, with credit. You may quote, chart or report DGSI readings, including in news, commentary, research, teaching and paid publications, and use them for your own non-commercial purposes. Credit them as “Source: DELAX Global Strain Index (DGSI), delaxcom.org” and do not alter the figures.
Needs a written licence from us.

The method is published so it can be checked. You are welcome to describe, test or criticise how the DGSI is built. You may not present an index of your own under the DGSI or DELAX name, or in a way that suggests it is ours.
The inputs belong to their publishers. The DGSI is built from data published by the US Energy Information Administration, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, the Federal Reserve Board, and the Geopolitical Risk index of Dario Caldara and Matteo Iacoviello (Creative Commons BY 4.0). These terms cover the DGSI, not those sources.
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. DelaxCom LLC's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the site or your reliance on it, including investment losses, is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100 if you paid us nothing. This cap does not apply where the law does not allow one.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, USA. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Polk County, Iowa.
